Hillside Cabin is a 150 year old barn that was brought to Texas from Cape Girardeau, Missouri. It arrived on a flat bed truck in pieces and after the cabin was beautifully constructed Tricia furnished it in rustic pieces created to complement the feel of the cabin. The drapery rods are tree limbs that Tricia and her sons cut from a tree and wittled down smoothly so that the drapes would sit nicely on the branch. The animal print table and chairs were found at the local Wimberley Market Days and the custom bedding was designed at purchased from the local Cowgirls and Lace in Dripping Springs. Antique chippy paint bead board siding was used to finish out the cabinets and long leaf pine lumber was used for the front door. An old wind mill tail and other antique pieces all contribute to the rustic charm of the cabin. Hillside cabin is rented as a bed and breakfast through www.hillsidecabin.com
