A project to remember - how many times will Tricia ever get to design a beach home with permission to use the color "pink"... This beach home is a combination of sweet, chic, warmth and happiness. The Jouffrays had a tiny toddler and were expecting a new baby well on the way when purchasing this beach home (in framing stages) so they enlisted Tricia to select everything from paint, tile, plumbing, mirrors, lighting, furniture, window coverings, artwork - etc. Armed with a client with great taste and a style that Dabney Designs loves to create, it was a pleasure to take on. There were a lot of personal touches to create the perfect home for them, some of them we were so lucky to find. The oars made into lighting, the antique blue shutters from Europe, antique mirrors for bathrooms, architectural piece for above the bathroom barn door, and a beautiful coastal painting of two small little girls with a gorgeous gold antique frame are just a few of the pieces that help personalize their home. White painted Shiplap siding is used throughout the home as well as the vaulted second story into a third floor office with a hanging bed. The project was one of Tricia's favorites but seeing the client's reaction once everything was in place was a day she will never forget. The big hugs and smiles are more than words can describe.
