Armed with the knowledge her client wanted a chandelier in every room, custom linen bedding, chunky shell mirrors and an elegant yet welcoming feel, Tricia was left to her own creativity. More than 20 chandeliers found their way from various antique shows, including Round Top to their new home in Port Aransas via Dabney Designs Dodge truck and 14-foot trailer without a casualty, no less! Furniture was collected from antique sales or custom painted to fit the decor. The selections made for this home on flooring, tile, granite and paint were a combined effort and turned out fantastic. The slubby tile flooring created the shabby chic look the Petrus' were after and is one of their favorite things about their beach house. The heavy pine farmhouse table combined with a large center island in the kitchen provide a wonderful area for the family to come together. It was a true pleasure to create something so elegant and peaceful for such great people.
