This 1950s craftsman style bungalow was purchased by Tricia personally and completely restored inside. The only thing she kept was the base of the kitchen cabinets, and some of the existing tile floors. The home had a tan exterior and brown stained beadboard and wood interior which was a far stretch from the look Tricia had in her mind. She used the coastal paint palet as well as covering the ceilings in shiplap wood. The kitchen uppers were removed to create open shelving and the wall separating the dining room from the kitchen was removed to open the area. When she purchased the home the two secondary bedrooms had shower curtains on a spring rod as doors so Tricia designed the barn doors on a steel track with an aqua paint color - one of the many things that gives this home so much personality. The corner built in entertainment center was removed and Tricia put a wonderful yellow french country armoire in its place. This home is situated in Kingsland, Texas on the water and sleeps 10 and is available for rent by the night. It's a wonderful place for families to relax and unwind or for Tricia and her girlfriends to enjoy the surroundings over a glass of wine and potato chips.
